Schärdinger butter is the original butter. It was first produced in 1900 - at the time Schärdinger exported butter called "Theebutter" to the English royal court, where this fine, grade A butter was used to make scones for five o´clock tea. Today Schärdinger still makes this popular butter with care in accordance with a strict, traditional method. This butter gets its fresh, lightly sour taste from the added sour milk cultures. Schärdinger butter made from cultured butter is available in 250 g/125 g/20 g/10 g sizes as well as in finely salted 125 g sticks.
